Saint Lucia Youth Economy Project Receives USD 7.6 Million Funding from CDB and GOSLU

The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and the Government of Saint Lucia (GOSLU) have signed a USD 7.6 million agreement to fund the Saint Lucia Youth Economy Project, benefiting over 3,000 young entrepreneurs.This project covers various sectors, including agriculture, agro-processing, manufacturing, retail, and the blue, green, and orange economies.

The initiative aims to enhance youth participation in inclusive, gender-responsive businesses.

Six hundred youths will receive business training, while 120 will receive mentoring and financing.
