A resident of Fond St Jacques, Soufriere, is considering herself lucky, after the vehicle she was driving suddenly burst into flames.
The incident occurred in Fond St Jacques on Sunday, June 11, at about 3:05 pm.
According to Janne Williams, who was driving with a passenger, “I tried to apply brake but realized that I had no brake.”
She said she was driving at a normal speed of about 20mph.
